On these pages we would like to highlight a few of the built-ins and bookcases we have done over the years. I just wish I had taken more pictures, as there have been a whole lot of them that I would like to be able to show off.
Built-ins can be utilized in almost every single room in your home. I think that probably there have only been two rooms that we haven't installed built-ins in... the foyer and the kitchen. The most common room would have to be the family room, then the home office, followed by the dining room and lastly play rooms, mud room, laundry rooms and recreation rooms. Built-In cabinetry can be fabricated in so many design styles, with so many different architectural features, wood species and finishes, they can be made to fit beautifully in any room in your home.
Although I would like nothing better than to build fancy cherry or mahogany built-ins with design features that include, fluted pilasters, arched valances and crown build-ups, most clients opt to go for the basic paint grade built-in units with straight valances and plain stiles. We find that most people want a set of built-ins to be both functional and affordable.

9. Another set of built-ins with oak casework & facings. Fluted stiles, arches, adjustable shelves. We also fabricated this mantel which features fluted pilasters and a raised panel breastplate & dentil crown.
10. Office built-ins in solid oak with file cabinet drawers, fluted pilasters and a matching desk. All topped off in granite counters. We also paneled all the walls in a solid oak wainscoting with recessed flat panels.
11. Dining room built-ins with glass doors & shelving. Birch ply casework, raised panel inset doors.

14. Office built-in with full 1/2 round arches, fluted stiles and adjustable shelves.

18. Built-ins in a parlor, MDF casework & wood facings. Cabinet for TV with retractable raised panel doors, with a 3 piece crown through out the entire room.
19. Floor to ceiling built-in shelving that features wide fluted stiles and adjustable shelving.
20. Bookcase built-in unit as 1/2 wall room divider between columns
21. 1/2 wall built-in units with fluted columns supporting a straight header, constructed for a room divider between a kitchen & family room.
22. Another 1/2 wall room divider with an archway, round tapered columns, and built-in shelves.

28. Built-Ins in Play room, All birch plywood casework with poplar wood facings, solid raised panel inset doors, adjustable shelving, recessed toe kick.

29. Built-ins for a family room with arched valances, fluted stiles, inset raised panel doors, flush toe kick design, fully adjustable shelving, all topped off with a one piece crown moulding. We also fabricated the mantel to cover the old brick corbels, and added a recessed panel above to help tie in both built-ins.
