Here we show a few before and after pictures of a staircase makeover. The after pictures were taken before the painters and flooring refinishing crews had arrived.
Phase one of this job entailed modifying the old carpeted pine stairway with new solid oak treads and painted risers. Also we installed oak hardwood flooring on the landing
Phase two had us installing new mouldings throughout the foyer and stairway. We installed a two piece chair rail, shadowbox panel mouldings, and a two piece crown moulding.
Phase three had us installing a new railing - bannister, consisting of boxed newels, upgrade 6210 style oak railings, and 1 3/4" square top primed balusters.
