On this month's posting we are featuring a few different custom built-ins we just completed this summer, for a homeowner in Fairfax County, Virginia.
All the following pictured cabinetry and bookcases feature the same type of construction and features:
- Solid 3/4" thick birch plywood casework through-out... no mdf or particle board verneers
- Solid 3/4" thick poplar wood facings (stiles & rails)... with 1/2" beaded edgings
- Fully adjustable birch plywood shelving with decorative front beaded edgings
- Base unit interiors feature a nice clear semi-gloss polyurethane finish
- Real arched inset raised panel doors with concealed euro style hinges
- Straight valances with crown moulding accents and shelf ledges
- Counters of 3/4" birch plywood with 1 1/2" wood edgings with decorative "ogee" profiles
- A flush toe kick design, with matching baseboards and shoemouldings
