This page showcases just  a few examples of some different custom cased openings we can build and install in your home. The possibilities are endless when you take into account all the different mouldings, features, and decorating styles that are available. Some of these archways we installed only... they are manufactured by custom millshops that specialize in the fabrication of high end archways and moldings. One of these companies is Arch Craft... check out their work, we can order and install their archways in your home or office.

This first picture shows a nice example of an archway supported by square fluted columns. The columns have applied shadowbox panels under the two-piece chair rail, that continues through the entire room. This can be made in any length, width or height. Also note that we can make the arched entablature ceiling height, and incorporate the crown moulding through-out the entire room. (See the second picture)

This next picture shows a window seat archway with recessed paneled square columns, recessed panel archway and keystone details. See more pictures of this window seat, archway, wainscoting project here.

The following two pictures shows a room divider / custom opening with a straight header, square fluted columns, a three-piece crown moulding build-up, 1/2 wall bookcases with adjustable shelves and applied shadowbox panel mouldings.

 

These next two pictures are from a bathroom renovation, part of a finished basement project. They show the 1/2 walls and archway going up to the jetted bathtub.

Here are some high end archways we can supply and install in any size needed. They feature custom casings, keystones, arched and elliptical headers, raised paneled jambs and tapered columns

Window seat with columns and archway. Featuring recessed panels on the pilaster columns and on the archway. Also notice the wainscoting treatment. It is a flat beadboard paneled wainscot treatment with custom glazed painting. It features a double panel design and is 48" tall... this was set by the sloped ceiling. Updating your home with an archway or a pair of 1/2 wall room dividers with columns supporting an entablature, gives a dramatic focal point to any room. A Foyer is usually the most common room where you find these decorative details. But we have found that they are very functional when used in a remodeling situation such as additions as there is sometimes very wide openings from the existing home to the addition.
